Struggle is REAL DIP switch
I'm currently 6 weeks into putting it away and trying again: the unit doesn't work out of the box and no reference material is provided/documentation to guess, as i found on the forums there are 16 different frequencies for hampton bay fans so you have to play with the combinations. I have 2 fans, one was installed with all switches in the down position and the other with 3 in the down position and 1 in the up position. Here is the list of frequencies: (I think 0 is down and 1 is up) The combination continues. OR. the product just doesn't work?
