Almost perfect in my opinion

This monitor is near perfect. I have no comparison as this is the first monitor I have bought in almost 15 years. Yes it does - I've used 2006-2007 monitors up to this point. The image quality is simply outstanding. There is some light bleeding around the edges, which is common with most monitors but is only visible on very dark images and invisible when viewed at the correct 90° angle. The monitor is fast and works with Gsync. HDR works but I have nothing to compare. The colors are amazing. The refresh rate is amazing. I don't notice any ghosting like my old 1ms monitor. The contrast is so amazing that when I turned on the MW5 I was blown away. The lasers are blindingly bright against a dark background. The stand is fully adjustable and very durable. The monitor has a built-in light sensor and can adjust the brightness according to the ambient light. This is very useful as this monitor is AMAZING BRIGHT. I set the brightness to 56 and it's still MUCH brighter than my old monitor. Most often this happened in some games, but the monitor behaved like losing signal and going black for 3-5 seconds. It was pretty annoying. Disabling Gsync solved the problem, but I bought this monitor to use Gsync. I got Windows to install the correct drivers for the monitor and also used the CRU to set a higher floor for the Gsync refresh rate and that pretty much fixed all the black screen issues. I still have a game where the monitor goes blank at times so some additional tweaking is needed. Also, the company is Chinese, so the on-screen display doesn't use understandable terms. On the box is a fun mix of English. The motto is "More than you can be" - I find it extremely funny. As a result, the monitor is not very convenient to use. As I said, I had to tweak a lot and the OSD menu is a bit difficult to understand. Unless you're a power user or enthusiast, you should probably stay away. If you don't mind setting up something that will get you a really good deal, then this monitor is tremendous value.
