Review on 🚪 Kwikset 258 Uptown Door Deadbolt, Square Contemporary Low Profile SmartKey Deadbolt, Keyed One Side, Matte Black Finish by Thomas Unruh

After purchasing this set I noticed that it was a favorite at home renovation shows and I believe there are good reasons for that aside from the aesthetics. It looks beautiful and unique, but works very well. I've used some latches in the past that don't give a distinct click when engaged when you can feel the latch it sells digging into the recessed frame, but this one does. Easy enough to unlatch and gives you some confidence once you feel the bolt is in place. I can't speak to using the Kwikset's multi-key feature where you can use it on some other sets of locks, but I've read the instructions. and it seemed like a pretty easy process. However, please note that it can only be used to select other Kwikset locks/knobs, not other brands.
