Review on Vornado VFAN Vintage Circulator Green Heating, Cooling & Air Quality by Paul Lawson

I have a mid-century design aesthetic in my home and wanted a table fan for my son's nursery shelf and thought it would be perfect as it looks retro. It arrived and seemed solid and of good quality. I wanted this fan for airflow and some white noise while he sleeps. The airflow was adequate, but the noise was actually a little quieter than my other fans in the house, and it didn't block household noise either. Pro for those looking for a quieter fan, Con for those looking for white noise. Also note that it is very creamy, off-white in color and not pure white. I decided it was sweet enough to try anyway and left it. I now regret what I did. It gave up after less than 6 months of daily sleep and night use. He began to let out a terrible screech and the blades wobbled a little. My husband tried playing around with this and WD-40 and it left him limping a little longer before dying again. I think the return/exchange window is long gone and I'll be looking for a new fan again. I haven't been able to speak to Tornado/Revain support about this yet. I'll update my review if I hear anything.
