I have long, curly 3c hair and purchased this about a year ago. Prior to this brush, detangling my hair was such a job! My arms would get tired and I would literally spend an hour in the shower on wash day. Ugh! After I started using this brush I don't mind detangling my hair as much. It makes is so much easier and less painful than before. I'm able to detangle my hair in about 10 minutes now while in the shower.
