This shelving/storage system is functional and looks decent, but it's not as stable on its feet as I had hoped. Plastic/resin columns that screw through the shelves. The boxes are made from thin sheets of metal that fit into slots on the sides of the pillars. Doors are slightly thicker sheets of metal mounted on hinges. The device is not very deep. And the pillars end with legs that are maybe a little less than 0.75 inches from the corners. This makes the device a little wobbly, especially when you place it on a carpet or put something heavy on it. It's one star because it's not designed to solve that problem. It's also good value but doesn't look cheap, extra storage space. Good for a dorm room or a break room.
