For chairs I don't recommend these due to the weight and constant slipping. If it's a kitchen or dining room, they're exposed to sticky materials and will either pick up the sand or immediately peel off, damaging the floor before you know it. I use folding chairs, but they work well for small tables or cabinets that don't move often. Make sure to clean and sand the surface before applying to improve adhesion.
