Review on HyperX Cloud Alpha S - The Ultimate PC Gaming Headset with 🎧 7.1 Surround Sound, Adjustable Bass, Dual Chamber Drivers, and Memory Foam in Blue. by Bali Bali ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I³'m satisfied with the product, it³'s well made and the price is also satisfying.

Although the bass is adjustable, it doesn’t get any more interesting, so . at 4-. The middle is good. that external outputs are only 3.5mm or 6.3mm. The card included in the kit does not pump the headphones to full strength, but only with its help you can make pseudo 7.1. Accordingly, if you connect via the USB card included in the kit, the headphones will sound much quieter and lower quality than if you connect them to a more efficient card with a decent amplifier, but only by connecting headphones through the card included in the kit it is possible to use pseudo 7.1. , but at the same time, 7.1 cannot be connected in any way. The headphones are excellent if you use them as 2.0 headphones with another card with an amplifier. The included card, as well as the included microphone, as and additional velor ear pads can be thrown into the trash. It will turn out to be about a third of the cost of the headphones, if not more simply not necessary overpayment. Like headphones 2.0 on a solid 4, like a headset 7.1 on 2-. Audio-Technica m 50 or Yamaha hph-mt7 (I'll find where to listen first) and a separate microphone.

Pros
  • When you connect headphones to your Asus Xonar Phoebus sound card, decent sound for headphones for 6-8 Comfortable fit. Pretty deep ear pads. Convenient bass control. Good build quality.
Cons
  • Very hard cable. The microphone is of very poor quality. Velor ear pads are of poor quality and distort the sound very much. Not a simple change of ear pads is enough. Thin ear-to-ear cable. There is no way to use all the functions and capabilities of the headset at the same time (more on that in the comments). The included audio card is not capable of unleashing the potential of these headphones. 7.1 in this version is not an option for shooters (positioning is lost at short distances, on my Phoebus card with the Sonic radar function, of course in 2.0, positioning at short distances is almost perfect), for games like WoT-normal.
