These were far shorter than I anticipated. My husband looked at them and thought they were for our son. He won't even put them on. Because of this, they actually have gone to our daughter who likes to lounge around in boxers or shorts anyway. Because she is so much smaller, these actually look like workout shorts that just have the man's crotch sewn into them. For around the house it doesn't much matter, so they are comfortable for her. I'm thinking that trunks are not the answer for my husband though and back to looking for longer leg boxer briefs.
