The saying you get what you pay for can't be true ANY MORE with this jacket. It's so well done. The quality of this jacket is MUCH superior to any other jacket I have bought for my pup. He loves to. This keeps Portland dry and warm in the winter. The jacket itself is not only a good waterproof jacket, it is durable. The material is heavy and nicely weighted. However, the Velcro closure impressed me the most. This is a strong velcro that high quality items have. Where it's made to hold tight but doesn't create that awful fuzz on the side it's attached to. I LOVE that in the design of the jacket the velcro was like on the outside of the jacket when you hang it up or dry it. I have another brand jacket that doesn't have velcro and it's driving me crazy because it sticks to everything. I am also very impressed with the leash access. I just tuck it under my collar, but for those who want to use a zippered access flap, it's well reinforced and attractive. Every part of this jacket is well made. Definitely a must-have for any dog lucky enough to spend a lot of time outdoors.
