I wish I would have gotten my actual size. I sized up, thinking it was going to be on the smaller size, and the sweater is a tad big. That being said, it's for an "ugly sweater" party so being bigger is helpful. The arm length is just right, so if you have longer arms, you may want to size up for that reason alone. The sweater fabric is a little scratchy - but again, not looking for a soft cardigan for every day wear.
