I install Christmas lights so I use hundreds of zip ties every week (mostly I hide extensions behind downspouts). In total I tried about 100 pieces, 75 white and maybe 25 black. A maximum of 10 out of 100 survived, with the remaining 90 breaking trying to secure them themselves with a light touch. As soon as I thread the end through the head of the yoke the center of the head pops out rendering it completely useless. On the stairs in the cold and rain, holding an extension cord in one hand and trying to zip up with the other, they break, you have to pull it out from behind the drainpipe and try again. I also look rather clumsy for a professional installer. I just can't imagine my situation being that rare based on all of the reviewers' experiences of actually using them, especially given that I've tried both white and black ones and they've failed equally. Really makes me doubt Revain reviews at times. I never thought I'd be the guy to leave a review on a stupid screed, but here I am. Of the hundreds of purchases made at Revain this year, I would rank this one as one of the least useful.
