I got this to connect to a city water supply that I wasn't sure about. But we ended up moving to a different water source, so I never connected it. Arriving in an area with very high water pressure I pocketed it and what a disappointment. I turned on the water and the gauge slowly went up to 40 pounds. Then when I used the water on the outlet side it dropped to zero and there was no water in the hose after the pressure was released. NO WATER AT ALL! I think this will keep my pipes from over-pressurizing, good! But shouldn't I have drained some water. You know something like the volume of water, but no more than 40 pounds of pressure. I tried adjusting it with a small screw but nothing let the water through. Wasn't that the purpose of the device? Know you need to give some water but don't inflate your tubes with too much pressure? If the seller is listening, please let me know what you would like to do about the defective items you are selling. I foolishly didn't try it by the return date so I know it's my problem but it would be nice to hear from you! Thanks very much! I hope for an answer.
