Updated review: The company read my review and contacted them to see how they can fix this. They sent me a new red LED leash and collar free of charge in case the old one broke. The new ones work better. The red isn't as bright as the green, but it means I can actually see without interfering with my night vision. Batteries are better and last longer. Overall I'm happy with the new ones for the price and the customer service is really great. This is a company that clearly cares about how you feel about their product. This is a refreshing change. Old review: We had the green version of this and it was great, but it was a bit difficult to see anything else because the green is so bright it's difficult for your eyes to adjust to night vision. I thought red would be better. The good news is that my eyes adjust better in the dark to see my surroundings in red. Unfortunately, that red collar seems useless - both the collar and the leash are not highlighted in red. It's like it's never fully charged. The red collar's battery lasts about 15 minutes before it gets completely dark, which means that in winter I have to fully charge it the night before a morning walk in the dark and before an evening walk in the dark - and it won't last a whole walk . (Luckily the leash lasts for both walks without reloading.) Good idea, but poor execution.
