Shattered hourglass for learning and education
I was delighted to receive these for my preschoolers with special needs. The hourglass first broke out of the box when it fell with its foot of the earth onto the rug where the child was sitting. It was a mess to clean up! Reluctant to let others use it on carpets, afraid of breaking them on a hard floor. At the moment they are only allowed to look and touch under supervision. Wanted them for a calming area, so not great.
