I love pineapple. I don't like to cook. I recently bought an expensive pineapple corer from someone who is throwing an online party. I couldn't wait to receive it. I got it and was wondering how much I paid for it? It was a great apple corer and I had to use a lot of muscle to cut through the pineapple. When I saw this Kubung pineapple core cutter, I had to try it. I have tried many of their products. For the most part I was very satisfied. Some beat my good kitchen tools that I already have. I was curious how this core cutter would match up with the expensive one that sits untouched in my drawer. When I first received it I was skeptical. It comes in a box that doesn't look like it would fit anything that goes through a pineapple. i open it There are 3 parts. Plastic guide, core up and down. At first I was curious about this plastic guide, it looked like an apple corer, but I knew it wouldn't fit through a pineapple! I bought a pineapple. let it mature I used my knife and cut off the tip. Collected Stoner. I hit the punch and started rolling over. THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY I EVER CUT A PINEAPPLE! This sampler glides over the pineapple with little effort. I went all the way down because this is my first time using it. I later realized that if I had stopped a bit sooner I could have used the pineapple peel for the fruit salad, or any other way I could think of using it at the moment. This makes the perfect bowl as long as the core doesn't reach the bottom. I pulled out the core and perfectly twisted pineapple rings came out. The core popped out slightly from the center punch. Can be washed in the dishwasher. This is 18/10 stainless steel. I just hand washed it. The downside of ANY stoner is that I learned this with my loved one who is also in the box. There seems to be more waste on the outside of the pineapple than if I just cut it by hand. On the other hand, there seems to be less waste around the core. I like this stoner because it gives me the opportunity to reuse it in the most bizarre way. Dazzle your kids or your husband. This is the easiest way I've ever cut a pineapple. It's also inexpensive. About 1/4 the price I paid for the one in the desk drawer. 5 stars is easy.
