Review on Card Utility Hook with Adhesive by Vincent Burton

I wish I couldn't tag this item. Bought 30 (sought parts) with high hopes. So much for the best of intentions. Wanted a clean version and that's what I got. The hook material is solid, which is good. But, oh, glue. Yay! The mounting surface (very smooth painted right shelf) cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Allow the hooks to sit for 24-36 hours before using. Place a collectible baseball cap on each vertical drop hook (love those logos!). In the first 3 months of use I replaced 11 of the 18 hanging hooks because they fell off. The adhesive came off on both sides of the bracket (on the wall and on the hook). I even re-cleaned the attachment points each time the glue couldn't keep up. What a waste of time and (not much) money. Glad I didn't support anything heavy or fragile. Now I'm changing to another brand which isn't clear but I can live with thinner white hooks that won't fail. I really liked these clear plastic hooks and the gap between the hooks was perfect for hanging a baseball cap. Spring.
