wind turbine does not perform anywhere close to advertised
installed as instructed and placed in an open area 15 ft above ground level. With 20 mile per hour winds turbine would not generate enough amp to charge batteries. Added a volt/amp meter and it showed 12v but 0 amps when hooked up to a bank of batteries. batteries without a load read 11.8v and after 10 hours batteries were still at 11.8. Not worth the time and investment. Solar panels give you a more reliable source of power even without a constant source of sun light.
