Not really much to say about that; He changes the channel. It worked with my Visio TV without any problems. It's an IR remote and has the limitations of an IR remote: relatively short range, it has to be pointed fairly close directly at the Roku or nothing happens. It also has a slight lag (TV response is not instantaneous). It's smaller (not as "deep" from the front of the button to the back) than HF devices, it's lighter (looks like an empty plastic case), and it takes 2 AAA. Batteries not included). This is not like the newer RF remotes; With RF modules distance isn't an issue, these guys work from the next room, there's no lag at all and you can point them right away from the TV and they'll still work. The RF remotes are also slightly larger (thicker) and use two AA batteries instead of the two AAA batteries in the IR remote. It's a working remote control and I'll have it on hand for emergencies. but I prefer HF blocks of this type. It's also a lot cheaper than RF units (less than $10 versus around $40). So if cost is a factor, this is the way to go.
