If you buy this player, you will be satisfied with it. while he works. I didn't open it right away, but when I did I thought it was pretty cool. It's well done and has a great image, I really liked the image because it wasn't too bright. I usually buy refurbished players. I have a daughter with severe cerebral palsy. She loves her shows. She can neither walk nor speak, her films are one of the few things that make her happy. We used this player for about 8 days then we took out a disc and when we put in another it didn't play. I've tried a few times and it won't play. Says no disk / disk is unreadable. Even new wheels. The player looks fresh out of the box with the plastic still on the screen. But what's the point if he doesn't play. I buy a lot of portable DVD players but this is the first that hasn't even lasted a month. It always has 2-3 players in action. I was excited because I thought I had found one that was a good size and weight with a good picture. I'm already planning to get another one next time I order. I do book reviews all the time, but this is my first product review. If you get one of these players, I hope you have better luck than us.
