I rarely get excited about a product, this is one of them. First, let me explain that this is not a regular RGB LED strip, it is RGB + CCT. For those new to the nomenclature, let me explain the difference. RGB has a chip for red, green and blue. There is no white color chip, white light is obtained as a mixture of these 3 colors, but of course it is not good white. These TRANSMART strips are RGB+CCT, which means that in addition to the RGB chip, they have 2 extra chips, one for warm white and one for cool white, giving you more control and beautiful lighting. I ordered this strip to replace a similar spec strip from another manufacturer that was not working properly, so I already knew what I was getting. Since I use the SMART LIFE app (also called TUYA), this strip was the perfect replacement. I use them for my kitchen cabinets so water resistance is important. These tapes have a coating covering the LED chips to protect them from moisture and cooking fat. The manufacturer has included many plugs and screws to facilitate installation, which is unusual these days. The power supply is rated at 2 amps while my previous one is rated at 1 amp. As there are 4 connectors in the kit I think this strip can be extended although I wouldn't recommend extending it by more than 5 additional meters as this strip is already 5 meters long. The unboxing video shows a black transformer with a black cable. Luckily it comes with a white transformer and cord, perfect for my kitchen. That's what I like about this strip. This is RGB + CCT2. It is controlled by Smart Life APP3. It is waterproof 4. 2 amp white transformer with white wire4. I can and do manage them with Revain's Alexa and Google's Home.5. The seller was quick to answer my questions and they are currently available at a great price under $16. I hurried and ordered 3 more sets before they raise the price. I highly recommend them.
