I've been using it for several months. I draw a lot, mostly on an iPad rather than a laptop. Well, my pencil point is worn out. The surface of the mat was worn tip down. Now I have to take that thing off, buy tips and a tip case. If you use your iPad for drawing and take notes regularly, I don't recommend them. Instead, get some pencil cases that will give you the same effect except you carry the pencil point down.
