Review on Trumpeter TSM 9910 Rivet Maker by Robert Hunter

I am by no means an expert in model making so I bought this Riveter hoping to improve my skills and make my models more realistic. The problem I found with this riveter is that the riveter wheels are too big to rivet the edges and corners. Of course, it's difficult to make right-angle rivets and the like, that's understandable. If the wheels were a bit smaller, it would help to get more rivets at right angles or in hard-to-reach places. It is difficult to see where the wheel engraves the rivets on the model as the wheel is held by the handle. The rivets themselves aren't too sharp, but that may be due to my inexperience with this tool. On the plus side, it's pretty good when making long rows of rivets, such as B. on wings or airframes. I've only used it on 1/72nd and 1/48th scale aircraft so far so it's proved useful alongside my experience with this tool, although I still need to practice with it. It definitely makes the plane more realistic and beautiful. As you can see in the picture, 3 more wheels with different tooth spacings are included. I would probably give this item 4 stars if I had a little more experience with this Trumpeter rivet maker.
