Rivets weak and break

Tool worked ok. Rivets are very weak. We need to buy better rivets and try some more. Ok for weak joints thin material. Thanks for attention!

Did not work out of the box

I received this gun and immediately put it to use. The rivet cut off would stay stuck every time. I had to use pliers to get the piece out every time. After about 5-6 rivets something happened and it would not bite the rivet anymore. returned it and got a different one.

Works for me for my opinion

My use is light for occasional projects on kayaks so I can't say it will last forever, but I can say it feels solid, well made and works just fine for me.

Doesn't make a good rivet.

The rivet did not mushroom because the tool snapped off the stem before it was finished. The tool just didn't work. I would of returned it but I missed the deadline.

Worst tool experience EVER!

Couldn't find an easy way to contact the seller about this P.O.S.Buyer beware, jammed up on 3rd try and pin shaft (the part that is supposed to disengage) would not release from the tool mouth. This AOBEN rivet gun is absolutely a hunk of junk.Shop carefully online or buy another brand at a store. Save your receipt!

Rivet Gun and rivets.

After installing the first rivet, the pin would not come out / release. Had to take it all apart to remove it. Installed three more rivets and another one jammed and had to take it apart again.

One rivet and done.and no product guide to assist.

Very first rivet spike bar gets stuck and won’t coma out of tool. Finally got it out and the second one did the exact same thing. Can’t get it out. Now useless.

I used this for automotive purposes. So far it has worked very well for the price. No problems at all securing things using the supplied rivets.

Disappointed in performance and quality.

Would not sever the pin until after several attempts at it. Used exactly three (3) times and a pin became lodged in the cylinder. Ended up having to disassemble tool head to remove pin. Once reassembled tool would not stay together to even store back in the box, kept falling apart. Would not recommend. Would return but return period has elapsed.

Tool will NOT support 3/16 " dia. mandrel

The tool only supports up to 1/8", nothing larger, it is advertised as supporting up to 3/16" this does not mean 6/16" mandrel dia. The head marked 4.8mm will only accept 1/8" mandrel dia.

So far so good good for me

Repaired automotive firewall with sheet metal patches. This rivet gun was easy to use and effective. One little difficulty if you have to clear the barrel of the previous rivet stem with the next rivet stem.

Light and easy to use and reset

The AOBEN Rivet Gun was easy to use with aluminum head, steel shank rivets up to 1/8". The tool's riveting barrel is 18mm wide, which allowed me to drill a rivet hole just 9mm from the inside wall of an angle iron.It was easy to extract the used rivet shanks from the tool and set another rivet.The tool's handle and body is sturdy enough that it doesn't flex or bend when setting 1/8" aluminum head rivets.
