Great tool for setting rivet nuts. Be sure to lubricate the roller bearings, this will take a while. Also, make sure you choose the right size drill bit and don't spill the hole or the rivet nut won't hold properly.

Ideal for working in tight spaces. As long as you can reach the nut over the NUT to keep it from turning and reach the hex bolt with the hex wrench, you should be able to install the NUT. I used a drill with an allen wrench to tighten it. Be careful not to overtighten the screw as it may break.

I am using an M8 to replace a damaged insert. The tool is excellent. However, the 3 stars are due to the fact that the inserts are not processed so well and the plastic box is unusable. Therefore, you need another box to keep all the tools and inserts in order. However, I recommend this tool. On the plus side, if you break the bolt you can get a replacement for the regular bolt. You are not a special bolt. If you slow it down, you also make it tight.

Easier installation than a do-it-yourself fixture. The main feature I like is that in case of breakage you can use "regular" screws. . I used a cordless impact wrench to install rivet nuts and snapped a few size 10-24 pieces, at size 1/4-20 there was no problem with a total of over 30 or so installed. Highly recommended. They have tiny needle bearings and run lightly, but require constant, even pressure with both hands. If I had to install 1,000 rivet nuts I might want to install a $500 air gun, but it works in tight spaces where a fancy gun would never fit. They come without instructions but are easy to use. Cheaper than any other socket wrench but I suggest replacing all screws with grade 8/10.9 screws. The 10-24 nuts that come with the kit are rubbish and strip the threads before crimping. I removed the strings from all 5 that came with the kit and got screwed in a bit since my truck had mirrors. I used all 1/4-20 nuts, the only problem was that I cut the included bolt during installation. 1, managed to unscrew with pliers, then cut off the next class 8 screw. I learned how to use setting 2 on my
