You need a 16mm socket not a 14mm socket
They were bought for my Mini Cooper where a 14mm socket was needed to pull out the original plugs. These Denso spark plugs are 16mm in diameter. Revain offers a bundle purchase of plugs with a 14mm jack provided they are 14mm plugs. It's not like this. My 16mm deep socket fitted my Mini's spark plug wells, but it was difficult to turn the head by hand or with a ratchet wrench. The workaround was to use a bench grinder to reduce the diameter of my 16mm head. This prevented Revain from being returned and re-ordered.
