Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

As soon as it was decided to upgrade the processor from the previous generation Phenom II x6 1055T, it was abundantly evident that the motherboard would also need to be upgraded. Make your selection from GIGABYTE or ASRock. The first one was found to have a problem when it was brought to the store, and the second one was rejected by customers and some reviews. As a direct consequence of this, I went with this one for Ryzen 7 2700x. The fact that the computer would not start was the first thing that frustrated me. An error or damage has been detected on the video card, as indicated by the VGA indicator located on the motherboard. After moving the card (a GTX 770 Palit, which was not a JetStream model), I relocated it to the lower PCI-E 2.0 slot, and the machine booted up successfully. The fact that the card description includes the number 3.0 led me to initially believe that the slot in question was broken. After I borrowed a GTX 1060 from a friend and installed it in slot 3.0 of the system, it booted up successfully. The evidence points in the direction of the conclusion that the slot is functional; nonetheless, there may be issues with the card. The RAM was brought up to the necessary frequency thanks to XMP. The motherboard's GameBoost enabled the stone to move to position 42022. The machine stopped responding after the AIDA stability test had been running for 8 seconds. Regarding the power supply, I made a mistake; according to them, 600 dishonest watts are not sufficient. Modified the PSU to use 750 units that are more honest. The outcome is the same, but it can be obtained in just three seconds. After GameBoost was turned off, the test was no longer causing the machine to run slowly. BP was not at fault in this matter. It's interesting to note that when GB is enabled, AIDA displays a frequency of 4149, but when 4100 is disabled, it displays 4100. I have no idea what is taking place in this room. I am looking forward to hearing the professional's viewpoint. Addition The performance of the GTX 770 video card began to drastically deteriorate. What exactly is the issue, because I have no idea? Supplement 2 It turned out to be faulty, which resulted in the card functioning less effectively. Took another in exchange for this one at the store.

Pros
  • Because I have not used a computer in over a decade, there is nothing that can serve as a point of reference.
Cons
  • I wish there was a stylish backlight, but the only one that illuminates is the GAMING PLUS logo. My preference would be for there to be more USB ports on the back panel, but these are only petty complaints given that additional connectors may be added using different boards.
