Review on Thermo Tec 14620 Heat Sound Suppressor by Jamie Behm

I used this to replace the thick sound deadening material that was OEM in the transmission tunnel. This was enough to bridge all the way back to the end of the transmission and the front firewall. It was great, I had plenty of room to put the engine and gearbox back in. It also looks a lot cleaner. The sound is quieter and the cabin is cooler. I really like this product. Easy to install, good for any bumps in the tunnel, bought some tape to seal the liner if I need to cut material and shape the tunnel. Six months later (after repair) everything is fine. I cleaned the metal well to prepare it for assembly, applied Thermo Tec 12005 glue and roller pressed the material to the metal. It should hold if you prepare properly.
