Review on Quick Release Dog Backpack by Outward Hound Kyjen by Abby Clark

gets work! (some room for improvement)

no complaints, this model works fine but it seems to me that the harness could be made of cooler mesh or just heavy straps instead of "mantle" of the same nylon is part of the bag. The suspension could benefit from a crossbar between the chest strap and the "armpit strap" for heavy loads. I used the elastic Velcro loop that lay between these straps to stabilize our large loads. My German Shepherd and I have been using this exemplary dog backpack for about 3 months now and it has not let us down. This is a big improvement over the cheap ones we used. We carry the maximum load this bag can handle about once a week or once every two weeks, which is 18 twelve ounces. Cans of beer - about 15 pounds - nine each. Our walk back from the store might take an estimated 1/4 mile, at least a 20 minute walk from the right owner. There is no wear and tear on the bag and trust me we are making the most of its capacity. Then I can just unbuckle the backpack from the seatbelt and throw it straight into the fridge! My dog loves it, has no problems with it and can go up/down stairs much easier than with a poorly designed old bag. She's a good dog.
