Great ring lamp for my desk - provides versatile lighting for a variety of uses

A few notes on this ring lamp. It's reduced to a mini size compared to a full-size photo ring light, but has many of the same benefits like different temperature settings (warm or cool light), adjustable brightness, and wired controls. There are multiple possibilities. to install light. The scope of delivery included a telescopic tripod with three sections (extensions). The tripod's legs fold into the body so you can pack it up and throw it in your backpack when you go on a hike and need constant lighting. It is USB powered, which definitely makes it more portable than flashlights that require an outlet. USB from Apple), the ring indicator does not light up. However, my barbed pole has USB slots and the cord is long enough to go from the table top to the surge protector. The slots on the back of the iMac take up a lot of space anyway, and I don't have any empty spots for the lights, so that suits me. Let's move on to the characteristics of the ring lighting itself. The kit includes several parts that allow you to create various configurations. You can attach it to your computer screen and place it over your webcam's eye as it has a U-shaped piece that won't block your camera and allows you to center the light exactly over your screen. It's handy, but I prefer the included telescopic tripod. The video I've attached shows how the neck has a hinge that allows the light to be in just about any position you want. You can adjust the height of the tripod by rotating the body until the segments slide freely and then rotating in the opposite direction to lock them in place. The tripod ALSO unscrews if you want to attach the top two sections to the larger tripod base (leaving the fold-out leg section). It struck me as a particularly clever design. As much as I admire the design of this lantern as an extension of my video chat skills, I definitely think we'll use the lantern for more practical things like identifying small letters and numbers on coins and collectibles that we sell. I need it for my table and am already getting a lot of use out of it.

Pros
  • Have fun
Cons
  • Safety

Would be nice if it came with instructions! I only figured out the clip and gave up on the stand.
