Review on Krowne P Wall-Mounted Faucet by Rich Ferguson

I struggled with an antique faucet, apparently from Union Brass, for several years before purchasing this replacement. I was concerned that trying to install a new faucet would open another can of worms since the pipes disappear into the wall with no access from the back, but eventually the local hardware stores seemed to stop stocking parts for our house. old. Well, if I had known that the installation would go so smoothly, I would have exchanged the old one 5 years ago! I didn't even have to use the pipe flange adapters that came with this new unit as they are interchangeable with my old adapters that were already installed on the pipes. I simply replaced the old o-rings with new o-rings and screwed on the new faucet. It's scary to think how much water and money we've wasted without replacing that old dripping thing much sooner. Not to mention the time. The small sealing washers used to fail about twice a year. I feel like this new faucet has a thinner and lighter molding than the old one, but looks nice. The spout is fairly light, just thin-walled tubing rather than cast brass, but it should be fine as long as my kids don't overuse it. So far I am very happy with this purchase.
