So I wanted the Surface because I saw the possibilities based on its commercial presentation. I decided to give it a try. I originally wanted to return it because in a rush based on the price I missed out on this whole 10.8 vs 12.3 thing because a couple of the accessories I bought were for the Surface Pro. I decided to keep it because this 2-in-1 tablet/computer combo has many features. I was really too busy at the moment to try them all but so far so good. I look forward to trying everything else! It's perfect for the same amount of work as my laptop, although I need more GB. Battery life isn't as good as I expected, but it's not terrible at all. I think it's great for students, creative people and writers. Great for putting in a backpack or carrying anything - it's very light. I think you will like this "tablet".
