Scoreboard with bonus.

I bought 2 of these as gifts for two children who just turned 1 year old. I gave my child a magnetic board for his first birthday. But they don't do that anymore. I liked the fact that the holes for the letters are the same shape as the letters themselves (which is what I was looking for). And letters made of thick wood that last a long time. They are also slightly raised for easy picking off the board. The advantage of this letter board is that it appeals to the child. It says the name of the letter and the object that has the sound of that letter. My friend and her sister (born within a month) were thrilled with their baby's gift. If I need another one for someone else. I know where to get it! <3 When my kids were little, I would sit with them and pick out a letter and say its name. Then they put it back and repeated the name. That was the game we played. We ended up taking out 2, 3, etc. She knew the letters before she started school. Play with the child, it is more effective.
