These little shoes are great. I got them for my 2 year old first beach trip. She happily wore them all day long, from surfing to the sidewalk to the pool. After this trip, she often wears them as outdoor shoes instead of her normal tennis shoes. She can even wear them over her socks. I chose this one over the other models in the hope that the little felt protector on the tip would help keep the elastic material from tearing if she stumbled on the pavement. It did an excellent job on this task and also did a great job of protecting the toes after a few falls. The color and the print remain bright and beautiful even after soiling or in the pool water.
