I have a Samsung S5 Galaxy. This is the perfect cable for the way I use it. This cable is very strong and will withstand anything you can throw at it without snapping or tearing. That's my opinion, but in my normal use it went through the mill. It's a USB 3.0 cable, but it worked fine with USB 1.1 (yes I still have one), 2.x and 3.x, at lower and up to 2.1 amps. I've also tried this with several external hard drives and everything worked fine on them. I am very happy with it as my phone is so old that I have to plug it in several times a day and actually use it while charging. This creates quite a bit of movement and some stress on the forks. So far no problem. My only negative comment that doesn't bode badly for the cable is the price. Seems a little high for a 6.5 foot cable, although it's very durable and probably the highest quality cable I've seen. Either way, I'd rather pay a little more knowing it will last. You can just pick it up and feel the quality knowing it will last. Definitely 5 stars.
