I have been using a high capacity conventional air compressor to inflate my paddle boards for over a year. It took me about 18 minutes in over 80F and it overheated leaving me with a paddleboard that was only inflated to 12psi. I had to trick it several times to make it work but I was never able to fully inflate 2 SUPs. Until I received this AWESAFE pump. To be honest, I didn't believe what he said, but I decided to give it a try. After the first use, I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner! It looks like this pump has two pumps inside. The first pump is quieter and quickly inflates the paddle board until it reaches about 0.8psi - this takes about 1 minute and 20 seconds. (It took my tire pump about 6 minutes to get to this stage!). Then another pump is switched on. It's louder and I think it's just a regular "tire pump". From this point on, the SUP will inflate until it reaches the desired PSI value. It took about 14 minutes to inflate the 11.6ft SUP to 15psi and 12 minutes to inflate the 10ft SUP to 15.5psi. After inflating these two paddle boards, the battery level was still 46%! Was the pump battery at 57% at the end of the day while packing? I'm not sure why. This was the first time I tried the deflate function. Doesn't matter! It helps a lot with boarding. This pump is pretty light and I will take it with me when I travel to my paddleboard by plane! No more driving to gas stations or driving when I'm pumping up my paddle boards. Doesn't matter! Highly recommended! I will report on the durability after a few months of use.
