i was hesitant to purchase a PAIR of gloves for welding, but I am glad I did... my analysis of this product showed that it is very effective and also resistant to smelting. It provides the necessary protection and makes it much easier to handle heated metal pieces during the welding process. The gloves are also easy to clean. The only downside is that they are a bit heavy and may strain your hands at first but you quickly get used to them..
