I have arthritis, scoliosis and a curvature of the spine. So my back is shaped like a tight-fitting one. This stretcher helps. I used to use our sofa to recline and stretch out but it can't be used that way anymore so I searched and checked reviews and found a sofa with soft padding for sensitive spines (not the uneven ones I've seen 😯 ) and the curve found could be modified a little or a lot as needed. It also comes with a long, narrow pad that runs underneath that padding for extra padding on your spine, which I really appreciate. It has a strap that allows you to attach it to your office chair or car seat. These places I would put on the lowest curve, but that's enough to help. This is the best (and I've bought a lot of equipment to help my back) back stretcher and brace I've ever bought. I definitely recommend it. PS Asterisk "Back Pain" I have 4 because nothing relieves my pain, it helps stretch it which makes it easier to move. Hurts a little at first. Because it stretches my very twisted spine.
