I bought these for a pair of pointed toe stilletos I own that are just a bit too wobbly to walk in. They helped a lot with the wobbliness, but they are more obvious than I thought that they would be, even in clear.Size wise these run small. I bought the normal with the thought in mind that if they were too big for the pair of shoes that I could use them on another pair. I am glad that I did this, Im not sure the narrow would fit on anything I own. So if you are going back and forth between sizes go with the larger ones.
