Review on Daiwa Felicity Electric Handheld Percussion by Everett Underberg

Very effective for me

I have severe arthritis in my spine and neck (ankylosing spondylitis) and bought a few devices including shiatsu massage and vibrating things by Homedics. This massager was better than all the others combined and worked better than any supplement or diet I've tried, in the first ten minutes I nailed it! I used to have constant stiffness and pain in my neck. The stiffness is still there because it's a mechanical thing, but the pain of movement is gone. I also have better range of motion. When I did this to my back and neck, I could feel them opening up, even my sinuses, believe it or not! I think this thing works wonders for me because I have to lead a fairly sedentary lifestyle, have to move slowly and it loosens up something that has been stagnant for years. I haven't tried any other percussion massagers so I can't compare them but I'm willing to order another just in case. It's about half the price of the others so I was skeptical, but it's 20 watts and effective. BTW, in case anyone is wondering, I didn't know how it works and couldn't find an explanation. I thought the massage probes were moving up and down or in and out like a piston. They don't swing, um, but swing like a swing.

Pros
  • Ideal for use on the neck, waist, legs, shoulders, arms, hips or knees
Cons
  • Large and bulky
