I used this shelf in my living room to store electronics that my husband thinks he needs (surround speakers, receivers and the incredible amount of cables, which are supplied). It was a perfect match for my farmhouse I'm aiming for. I assembled it in about 30 minutes, it's sturdy and can handle the weight of the electronics. You have to drill a hole and mount it in the wall and after it was done my husband said "this isn't going anywhere". good enough for me It's really a beautiful thing. The shelves are wood and match my other items perfectly, and with 13" shelf spacing, you can probably put anything on them - literally, a receiver that weighs more than one of my kids. The rails are ebony and look very nice (doesn't look like cheap metal but there's nothing wrong with that). For the price you can't beat it. It's easy to follow instructions that also can't win. It was there in 2 days - that's a big selling point too - I wanted to tidy up my living room. I am thrilled and can only recommend the order!
