Review on Straight Adapter Fitting Aluminum AN816 10 12A by Todd Stovall

I tried using them with one of the oil filter replacement kits listed on Revain (pure aluminum color not anodized color) but it leaked horribly due to the threads in the kit (not these adapters)! ) it is too small. I ended up taking the thing off and had no choice but to weld them on forever. After some welding they stop leaking and I never have to worry about it! You might get lucky with your application, but if you weld it in, have to clean both parts well, and weld some aluminum alloy, you'll never have to worry about a leak!
