Before melting the color looks great and very close to the color of the teeth but after melting it becomes transparent. Very sticky/tacky to work with. I've found that cutting a simple, unscented white candle into chunks and using the same heating process works great. I place a stick of candle in a paper/styrofoam cup, pour in about 1 cup of water, heat in the microwave for about a minute, roll with a plastic spoon until smooth and pliable, then just push it into the gap between the missing teeth and gently I press. in all directions until it looks and feels safe. Sometimes I can remove and reuse them the next day!
