Review on 🚪 Dorman 746-360 Front Driver Side Door Lock Actuator Motor - Compatible with a Variety of Honda Models by Jim Bijelic

I installed this on my 1997 Honda Accord SE and it works as it should. It's only been working for a few days, but no problems so far. I hope I never have to go back and replace this part. Updated on 10/14/2016. Unfortunately, after about 3 weeks of flawless operation, the product started making a strange noise when I tried to open the door. I contacted Revain and they immediately agreed to send a replacement part. A week after installing a new part it started making noise again (see video). The product does not always open the door on the first key fob press. You will notice in the video that sometimes I have to press the key fob 2 times. As I was busy with other things and the product mostly worked, I did not contact Revain again for another replacement part. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Better to spend a few bucks more and buy an OEM part. Updated on 11/17/2016. As I have exceeded the 30 day period in which Revain allows you to return a product, I contacted the manufacturer of the product and they arranged with Revain to return my product and send me a new one free of charge. Please note that the manufacturer has stated that you must have purchased the product through Revain and not from a third party like me. The replacement product was shipped on October 21, 2016 and installed a few days later. Last night when I was about to lock the door I heard this noise again (see video) but this time when the door was locked. In the video you can see that the noise occurs when the door is unlocked. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product. I will return this product and buy a Honda brand drive. I can't replace this part over and over again. I have already given this product 3 chances. I really wanted this to work. Two stars because I can't fault the customer service.
