Review on ACOPOWER Solar Panel Suitcase Adapter - Furrion 2 Pin Connector & Anderson Connector by John Larsen

Perfect for our needs

We have a Roadtrek class B motorhome with battery for a home. Class B cars are easy enough to drive and park, which is why we use them both as a sightseeing car and for camping. All that driving keeps the battery well charged. If we pause for a long time we can get up to 3 days out of the test. A little more and we have to charge. This prompted me to look for solar energy. A permanent roof was an option, but it was too much for our application and more money than I'm willing to spend. Space is tight in our small motorhome, so I looked at the "suitcase” models. I like that it has metal legs and a 5m cord. Our battery is hidden behind a plate so I made another connector with ring terminals. I screwed it directly to the battery. The plug hangs down and is easily accessible. We used it for the first time last week for 5 days. It did a great job of keeping our house battery fully charged and allowed us to use the roof fan at 'high' speed in very hot weather. The lights were bright and we were all favorite neighbors to charge phones and Kindles. We always had charge voltage when pointing it at the sun, even when the sky was overcast. All high quality equipment. All-round edge protection, stable aluminum feet, car connector and a very good carrying case. I'll take the battery clip connector with me in case we need to charge the chassis battery. Acopower's 100W foldable panel is perfect for our needs.
