. several times with my RPOD RV and it holds the battery well

I have used it several times with my RPOD RV and it holds the battery well. I also bought an EPEVER MT50 remote meter that shows charging data. One problem with this controller is that it draws its power from the charging load. So if your battery is low, it will probably fail and you won't be able to charge it. You have to somehow get the battery back up to 11.1 volts or so to use the panels for charging.

Reliable and versatile packaging

The solar panel is supplied in a very strong cardboard box with a protective carrying bag. I took the solar panel out of my suitcase and ran some simple tests to make sure it worked. I used a voltmeter to measure the solar panel output and it was around 20V, so that's more than enough to charge my 12V battery. What I love about the setup is that you can charge the battery with the alligator clips and charge anything else, like the battery generator, as long as it has the MC4 universal…

Good product with EXCELLENT SERVICE

I am very happy with this product. It took me a minute to set up and charge my sealed 12v AGM battery (35Ah, purchased from Revain) with the included alligator clips. The main reason for this review is this: I lost my guide and I was panicking as a beginner not knowing the details of my new solar system. I went to the acopower website and left a technical question asking for instructions. Within an hour they emailed me back with a link to the PDF. This is good service. I'm a noob and probably a

Excellent solar charger

Very economical device. We bought this charger to save our RV charger before a 2 week trip through Texas, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. It worked like a charm. We were off the grid for 7 days and this solar panel kept our deep cycle marine battery going although it was often cloudy or raining as it was rainy season at the four corners. We can turn on all the necessary lights and fans throughout the house throughout the night without seriously draining the battery. We used to have to connect

good case. Intuitive setup

Well packaged upon delivery. good case. Intuitive attitude. The instruction manual could use an explanation. Used it for a week at a Yosemite RV campground (no plug) under lots of tall trees so it gets some sunlight from time to time. Even so, most days he would charge two 6-volt golf cart batteries in series until the trailer's LED lights indicated they were fully charged. I was only able to start the trailer's water pump, interior/exterior lights and radio/CD-DVD system (from a Bluetooth…

Perfect for our needs

We have a Roadtrek class B motorhome with battery for a home. Class B cars are easy enough to drive and park, which is why we use them both as a sightseeing car and for camping. All that driving keeps the battery well charged. If we pause for a long time we can get up to 3 days out of the test. A little more and we have to charge. This prompted me to look for solar energy. A permanent roof was an option, but it was too much for our application and more money than I'm willing to spend. Space is…

Very well done! - Solar panels

UPDATE! There was an issue where the device would not charge the ship's battery, the LEDs would not light up in full sun, etc. I contacted ACOPOWER and they asked me to test with my car battery. It worked so I tried again with a ship battery and it worked! Apparently I had a connection problem the first time. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be NO LEDs on this charge controller (Landstar B) until the controller is properly connected to a working battery. This solar kit impresses with its quality. The
