I have ordered 4 of these to put next to every propane gas heater in my house, garage and cottage. One heater had a propane leak. As I walked throughout the cabin and smelled propane, I smelled it distinctly. I also bought a portable combustible gas detector and used it to "sniff" a propane leak. As soon as I entered the cabin with a handheld detector, the alarm went off and indicated a significantly high propane level. This product registered "0" and did not alarm at all and did not detect propane. My teenage child sleeps in this cubicle, do not trust your life or the lives of your loved ones, these detectors do not work.
