I bought this starter on 2/6/19 and installed it a week later. It was great until about 3 weeks ago when it started to come loose on cranking. This indicates a classic Cummins starter contact problem. Now I can not understand how the guarantee. The truck is only used when we need it, so it probably has 50 starts. It has new batteries and all connections are clean, bright and tight. It is now 5/30/20 and this starter has let me down. No word from the seller. The truck did 1200 miles last year because I don't trust the starter and I got bitten today. I will buy a factory that will last another 312,000 miles like the original. A little over a year and 1200 miles is not what I would call reliable.
