As a professional photographer, I have used San Disk Compact Flash exclusively for many years. The 1, 2 and 4GB San Disks have worked flawlessly with my Canon DSLRs for about 5 years. However, I am NOT happy with the 8GB (30MB/s) model. I recently bought five for a European photoshoot. The 8GB model does not consistently take photos on my Canon 7D camera. Especially when I'm doing a series of 5-6 shots. None of the images are recorded and I have to remove and reinsert the card to start recording again. I have corresponded with San Disk and Canon and no one has confirmed the problem. But THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM, and the 8MB model isn't for professional use unless you know how to re-spin.
