After installing my homemade floating laminate floor, I had a few uneven gaps at the ends and a tricky transition. I tried straightening the overlapping parts of the room with a pulley and hammer, but moving the entire floor of the room was too hard for the edge. I was amazed at the leverage of this tool for both pushing and pulling. I was able to move a 25 foot section of the installed floor to even out the ends. Just remember to use spacers for adjacent sections or the entire floor will move. After some experience, I appreciated the quick release button and made adjustments very quickly. This tool saved me from having to choose between living with visible gaps or reinstalling 500 square feet of flooring!
